I am thrilled to announce that I, Rev. Maritday Rodriguez, CHD, CLC, INHC, LME, RYT, HCHI, IET MI/P have officially been certified as a Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor (HCHI) and am excited to begin teaching this incredible program! Hypnobabies® is a comprehensive 6-week childbirth education course designed to help expectant parents experience a joyful, comfortable, and empowered birthing process.
Unlike traditional relaxation techniques, Hypnobabies® uses medical-grade hypnosis techniques based on Gerald Kein’s “Painless Childbirth Program.” This unique approach, known as “eyes-open childbirth hypnosis,” allows birthing parents to remain deeply in hypnosis while staying mobile—walking, talking, and changing positions with ease.
Many Hypnobabies participants report shorter, easier, and more comfortable labors, transforming childbirth into a joyful experience. Yes, it really works! By retraining the mind, contractions are experienced as pressure or movement sensations rather than pain.
Types of Classes Available
I’m excited to offer a variety of class options to fit your schedule and needs:
- In-person Hypnobabies Classes
- Remote (virtual) Hypnobabies Classes
- Hybrid Classes (partly in-person, partly remote)
Class Details and Fees
The Hypnobabies course spans 6 weeks, with each weekly session lasting 3 hours. Fees range from $250 to $500, depending on the format and included materials. Some insurance companies may cover the cost—be sure to inquire with your provider and check if your Flexible Spending Account applies!
