Hypnobabies Class Options
Option 1: Group Hypnobabies Childbirth Class
Schedule:
Each series includes 6 classes, meeting weekly for 3–3.5 hours over 6 weeks. All handouts and materials will be sent to you, so you never need to print anything.
Format:
Our in-Person or Zoom class is both fun and informative! This group class is limited to you and 5 other pregnant women, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive environment.
Ideal For:
- Those who want their partner more involved.
- Those who want their partner ready to support their birth goals and equipped to support them during labor.
- Those who wish to connect and celebrate their Hypnobabies births and “Hypno” babies with other expectant mothers.
- Those preferring a childbirth educator/instructor-led hypnobirthing class.
Cost:
$500 for the six-week series (includes all materials sent to you and 21 hours of instruction).

Option 2: Hypnobabies Independent Home Study Course
Hypnobabies also offers a wonderful home study option, which can be purchased directly from Hypnobabies.com. The cost ranges from $180 to $220, depending on whether you choose the online home study version or the print edition.
Format:
This is a self-study course that the birthing person can do mostly on their own, although birth partners are encouraged to follow along and participate in some activities. The course contains the same comprehensive tools and techniques taught in the live class.
Contents:
The print edition of the home study course includes all Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis printed workbooks, booklets, handouts, and audio tracks (on MP3 download cards), making it particularly convenient if you prefer not to print out a large volume of materials. Everything is shipped to you in an organized fashion.
Benefits:
- Keeps you accountable with organized materials in a binder.
- Provides a tangible way to learn, with physical papers serving as constant reminders.

- The student is responsible for purchasing the materials directly from the Hypnobabies website.
- The cost for this Home Study Advantage Package is $150.00.
- For the mom or parents who feel secure in their general understanding of how birth and hypnosis work but would like the advantage of having a teacher on call for a deeper understanding, trouble shooting, and resources.

When to Start Hypnobabies?
Ideal Time:
We recommend starting the Hypnobabies course at 28-30 weeks of pregnancy.
Homework:
There is a little homework each week, involving listening to the empowering joyful birth affirmations track (the only track that is not hypnosis) while doing daily activities such as brushing your teeth, driving, or doing dishes. Additionally, you will listen to each week’s hypnosis track before bed or while sleeping (yes, sleeping through it still counts!).
Structure:
Unlike other hypnobirthing courses, Hypnobabies is not a basic hypnobirthing course. It requires a structured schedule to be effective. Hypnobabies uses medical-grade hypnosis, formulated specifically for birthing, similar to the hypnosis used by medical professionals for preparing clients for surgeries and dentistry without anesthesia.
Accelerated Version:
If you’re past 30 weeks, don’t worry! An accelerated version is available, allowing you to still benefit from the course even with a late start.
